Welcome School of St. Mary Families

Every parent/guardian of a School of St. Mary student is a member of the Parents Association, and we hope you’ll join us in building our community, volunteering, and supporting the Annual Crusader Fund.

The 2023-2024 Crusader Fund goal is $330,000, with 100% parent participation (in the form of your time, talent, and/or treasure). The Crusader Fund is instrumental in supporting the school, and funds are used for:

  • Scholarships that allow students to have a School of St. Mary education;
  • Faculty who love and care about our students and who are skilled educators; and
  • An environment that makes successful education possible.

Not all of the PA events are fundraisers; we mix the FUN in with the fundraisers, and let’s have some fun this year! If you would like to volunteer and become involved on a Parents Association Committee, please reach out to the contacts listed below.

We’re so blessed you’re part of the SOSM community and we can’t wait to see you at PA meetings and events. Please check back periodically for event details, ticket sales and MORE!

About School of St. Mary
Parents Association

The School of St. Mary Parents Association (PA) supports the School of St. Mary (SOSM) vision and mission and serves to enhance the educational and social environment of the school through effective activities and communications designed to support academic and financial goals.

The purpose of the PA is to:

  • Identify and host community-building opportunities;
  • Organize and lead all school volunteer needs (e.g., room parents); and
  • Plan and activate activities to support the annual Crusader Fund, which supports school programs for continual improvement and enrichment.

The SOSM PA shares the core values and beliefs of the School of St. Mary. The SOSM PA does not actively participate in curriculum or school administration, as that is a function of the School Advisory Council (SAC). The PA receives direction from and is ultimately accountable to the Pastor of the Church of St. Mary, the SOSM principal, and in his/her absence, the SOSM assistant principal.
